Hon. (Prof) ROBINAH K. NANYUNJA:  
 
I am an international development expert and environmentalist, with  a Masters degree in Environment and International Development. I was awarded as a Honorary Professor by the academic union of the University of Oxford (in business and management).  I bring onboard rich experience in environmentalism, entrepreneurship, international development, business and political leadership as well as corporate governance.
 
I am the Founder and Chair of Pilot International, a social enterprise registered in Uganda with networks and partnerships promoting sustainable development in over 100 countries globally.  Through Pilot International, I have contributed to institution capacity development of various businesses, private sector, NGOs and facilitated investment within Africa and globally as well as designing and implementing multinational development, renewable energy, climate change and innovative projects.  
 
I am the First Vice President of the African Greens FĂ©dĂ©ration (AGF), a political fĂ©dĂ©ration based in Burkina Faso with membership of green parties and movements in over 30 countries across Africa.  
In this capacity, I have provided services for democracy, advocacy, development, digital finance, egovernance and environmental protection support to the partner countries through partnerships with the green parties.  In my capacity as the First Vice President of African Greens Federation, I hosted the AGF panel during the Global Greens Congress 2022, that brought together elected African greens politicians and former candidates to share experiences and learn new lessons on how to run successful campaigns and to win elections as a way to foster green democracy in Africa. I am also the AGF representative on the Global committee organizing the Global Greens Congress which will be held in Seoul South Korea 2023.  
 
I am the President and Host of the Women Economic Forum ( WEF) Uganda, and President of the board WEF Africa. WEF is the largest international women network connecting women leaders and entrepreneurs from all countries across the globe to provide a pool for partnerships, business and development opportunities as well as fostering investments. In Uganda and Africa I have established WEF leagues being led by women leaders, Presidents and entrepreneurs under sectors such as; Mining and value chains, Renewables and Environment, Agriculture and Values, Tourism and Hospitality, Art and Culture, Manufacturing and Exports, Financial Advisory, and Consulting and Capacity building.  
 
I am the G100 Security and Defense Ugandan Country Chair and Advisory  board member for Africa, an international advocacy women network promoting peace, and human security.  I was recently nominated as the Regional Vice President and National Director, For Africa by the World Economic

He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of the New York Bar and admitted to the United States Tax Court. He also holds both a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFC) professional designations from the American College in Bryn Marr, Pennsylvania. I started as professional Teacher and ended up as Education Director in many working schools and colleges like Wesley college Kumasi, Anglican Training, Edunai Training college in Kwebresekyere. Gold mining school at Obousi District education office Akunna Ashante.

I am a Educational Consultant Exclaimed. member of the Regional house of Chiefs and National house of Chiefs.

Birth & Parents

Nana was born at Juaben Ashanti on 24th September 1966 to Opanin Mathew Asante of blessed memory and Obaapanin Juliana Boateng who is aging gracefully at Juaben. He is the fourth of 12 children. He received a disciplined upbringing from his principled father and took this strength to become the hardworking and morally upright man he is today.

KEY ROLE MODELS

Key role models for Nana were his father (Opanin Mathew Asante), his spiritual mentor (late bishop Samuel Agyeman Kwakye of the Methodist Church), his Godfather (the late Nana Awuah Darko 1, the first Nkosuohene of the Juaben traditional area and founder of Vanguard group of companies) and Nana Otuo Siriboe 11 (Omanhene of Juaben traditional area and Chairman of the Council of state) Mrs. Vida Antwi Barima, and Mr. Amoah Jacaboba (a Chartered Accountant). who have all guided him through the passage of life.

 University: At university, he was awarded his first prophetic presidency as president of Asante Student Union and leader of Atlantic hall traditional council.

Masters: To achieve higher professional standards, he worked hard to obtain an Executive MBA (Financial Management) at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and served as vice president of the 8th batch of the EMBA group.

DOCTORATE: Nana received his doctorate degree at Day Spring University in the USA. Professional Workshops/Seminars. Nana has attended several professional workshops/seminars both in Ghana and abroad. Research Work

CAREER

First Business

In his early youth Nana quickly realized his skill for selling, Nana went into retailing whilst waiting for his results after form five (5) in the year 1987. He soon went into business after National Service forming the "Daakye Nti Enterprise" at Juaben for his father. Nana immediately started to shine in financial competency and was made the financial secretary of the National Service Secretariat, Techiman District after his sixth form studies at Konongo Odumasi secondary school. As a teacher, Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso 1, instilled discipline into many students and set the pace for their development. As a young man, Nana accepted the invitation to join his mentor, Nana Awuah Darko 1, in Accra, to seek fortune. Facing accommodation difficulties in the city, Nana encountered his childhood school friend from Juaben who happily allowed Nana to share his room with him, making Nana’s stay in Accra possible. Every good turn deserves another, Nana offered so much support to this friend during their school days so coincidentally meeting him in Accra to offer support in return was divine.

BUSINESS SUCCESS:Nana has been in business for around two impactful decades. Nana served with the Vanguard group of companies for almost 20 years, the Juaben rural banks for over 18 years, and Sasso business for 15 years. He is the 1st Vice Chairman of Juaben rural bank Ltd and the Executive Chairman for Nkosuo Finance Ltd. As managing director, shareholder, and executive chairman of Marine & General, Nana has seen the operation of a highly successful company.

FEWACCI: He has recently been made the chairman of the FEWACCI Investment and Trade Promotion Technical Committee. Pan-African Chamber of Commerce & Industry

He is also the immediate past President of the Pan African Chamber of Commerce and Industry which is comprised of 55 African countries headquartered in Ethiopia.

Ghana Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is the Immediate Past President of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He was first introduced to the Chamber of commerce by his Godfather, founder of the Vanguard group of companies. He started as a member, worked hard to be the chairman of Accra, rose through the ranks to become the second vice president, and now the president. His impact as a president has created a network of organizations that brings about business development and sustainability. He is known for giving voice to the views of all members.

Since he took over as the president of the GNCCI, Nana has produced a strong 5- year strategic plan for the chamber with his capable team and has reviewed the very old constitution of the chamber with updates to suit current business trends.

He has set up the Chamber Awards and initiated the Chamber business school to build capacity for the private sector. Nana has also cut the sod to build the GNCCI’s own purpose building. Nana initiated a presidential monthly business site visitation to increase visibility to these companies and encourage role modelling and peer-to-peer learning. Under his leadership, more GNCCI branches have been opened including Upper West, and a new office has been opened for the Koforidua branch. His efforts on the international scene have so far included scouting for investors, organizing prosperity programs, uniting the African chambers of commerce, and working towards free trade. Nana Dr Appiagyei Dankawoso 1 aims to build a profitable private sector in Ghana with a robust economy and capable people to create more enterprise and employment in the continent.

He is so passionate about the development and prosperity of Ghana that he offers support to all who challenge themselves to aspire into leadership for change. His zeal for the development of Ghana is so notable; the President of the Republic, H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed him as a member of the National Development Planning Commission and also a presidential adviser on business and investment. Nana leads business delegation and signs Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) on behalf of the Ghana Chamber of Commerce & Industry and other countries. It is worth mentioning that Nana played a key role in bringing the AFTCA secretariat to Ghana.

He serves as the chief linguist to Nana Otuo Siribuo II.

Some of the values that he holds have imparted discipline, focus, and set the pace for many, including his focus for positioning youth to have a clear vision to develop their lives.

As an Ambassador of the Omanhene of Asante Juaben, he manages the affairs of the Omanhene, especially when sitting in the state (his speech and demeanor). Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso 1, settles disputes, represents the Omanhene at ceremonies, travels abroad to receive awards on behalf of the Omanhene, attends business meetings, and responds to requests from other traditional authorities.

His ultimate goal is to help promote chieftaincy and build a profitable private sector, robust economy, and train people to become economically viable towards the creation of more employment in the country.

Philanthropic Activities: Amid work and traditional leadership, Nana is at his dearest point a passionate philanthropist. Widows Support.

 Nana supports widows from Ashanti, Greater Accra, and Eastern Regions of Ghana (about 300 Widows). Orphanage

 Nana supports the Countryside orphanage at Bawjiase, Central Region (About 150 Children), still running after seven (7) years of his support and giving.

His professional commitment after long experience of lecturing, coaching and treaching has significant contribution across the globe. He acquired knowledge from best universities in the World on four (4) areas such as Medicine, Engineering, IT and Finance from these reputable Universities - Cambridge University, Harvard University, University of the Witwatersrand and University of Johannesburg respectively and others not mentioned. He also continued to be a very active in public education, Projects Finance Funding particularly entrepreneurs from previously disadvantage people and their Continents - willing to fulfill what he named serving the humanity and making a difference in African Continent and within Global Village. His experience in the medical practice and research has earned him acculates within World Health Organisation.
